CPHCCA Sends Local Students to National SkillsUSA Competition

Charlotte Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Contractors Association (CPHCCA) is excited to announce they sent two local students to the National SkillsUSA Competition in Kansas City, Missouri with the help of Mr. Michael Medlin. Michael is a teacher at Parkwood High School in Union County and teaches students in HVAC, along with some plumbing education as well. Michael chose two students, Hunter Crook and Jonathan Brauda, who worked the hardest throughout the year to go and compete in the State Competition. Hunter and Jonathan were the winners of that competition and were awarded the opportunity to go and compete in the National SkillsUSA Competition. Hunter entered the Sheet Medal Competition and proudly won second place and Jonathan entered the Plumbing Competition. This competition provides the students with the confidence to work under pressure and teaches them to pride themselves in a job well done. Congratulations to Hunter Crook and Jonathan Brauda for doing an excellent job and representing your school!
