39th Annual Plumbers Invitational Golf Tournament

On Friday September 9, 2011, the 39th Annual Plumbers Invitational Golf Tournament was held at Hejaz Shrine Golf Club, located at 200 Ranch Rd in Mauldin, SC. Attendees checked-in between 9:30 and 10:30am and the shotgun start was at 11am. 135 people participated with 34 teams. Everyone who attended the event received a goody bag as they arrived and 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last place winners received trophies. 1st place winners included David Mason, Temple Roane, Matt Hensley, and Clint Hughes. 2nd place winners were Wes Ingram, Jack Pierce, Perdue Edwards, and Randall Nelson. 3rd place winners were Larry Ridgeway, Eric Fore, Adair Brewton, and Harvey Kirkland. Closest to pin winners included, Paul Manikawski, Dexter Pace, Ray Howell, Scott Gahagan, and a special Longest drive off the toilet to Shane Blackwell. Congratulations to all the winners! To end the beautiful, fun filled day, everyone enjoyed a delicious BBQ dinner and everyone had their name drawn for a door prize. This golf tournament was held to raise money for 5 different charities including, Shriners Hospital for Children, Anmed Hospital for special needs children, St. Francis Hospital, SCMA Scholarship fund, and Tuberous Sclerosis. The 2011 Golf Committee would like to thank everyone for attending this event and for their continued support. Because of your donations, they were able to help young children in many different ways.
