Hello plumbing pros. I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy the beautiful summer weather a little. I wanted to share with you some dates of upcoming events both national and local. The WaterSmart Innovations Conference and Exposition 2009 will be held in Las Vegas at the South Point Hotel and Conference Center on October 7th-9th. WSI is the showcase for the EPA’s WaterSense program which makes WSI the premier venue for sharing information about effective conservation programs and policies and showcasing new water-efficiency technology. WSI will also host the GreenPlumbers USA Las Vegas Workshop. For more info go to www.watersmart innovations.com/2009. PHCC Convention: Connect 2009, PHCC’s Annual National Convention will be held October 21st-23rd at the Sheraton New Orleans.
Another interesting national show is Solar Power International 2009. Billed as “America’s Largest Solar Event”, SPI 2009 will feature Keynote speaker Robert Kennedy, Jr. SPI 2009 will be held at the Anaheim, California Convention Center October 27th-29th. The 37th Annual Plumbers Invitational Open Golf Tournament will be held on September 18th at the Hejaz Shrine Golf Club in Mauldin, SC. For more info contact Elmo Strickland at (864) 335-1075. The Carolina Chapter of the ABPA will hold their annual conference on October 14th at the Alfred M. Brown Operations Center in Concord, NC.
And last but not least, on October 15th Ferguson Greenville, SC will host their annual tradeshow. Ferguson Greenville puts on one of the best and largest tradeshows of the year. If you have never attended, mark it on your calendar. I would like to send out our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Rick Cooper. Rick had unexpected bypass surgery recently.
