Meet Ferguson Marietta

Ferguson of Marietta, GA would like to recognize Wesley Griggs, Skip Prater, and Micky Smith as their Counter Sales team. Wesley Griggs, Inside Sales Trainee, began his career with Ferguson in September 2011 after graduating with a Bachelors degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. Wesley also helps on the counter from time to time and recently stated to the Georgia Plumbing News that what he enjoys most about working for Ferguson Marietta is “The people I work with everyday including my associates and customers.” Wesley enjoys going mountain biking and working on cars in his free time. Skip Prater has been employed with Ferguson since 2005 and holds the position of Counter Sales Manager. Skip has been in the industry for 13 years, beginning his career with Ferguson as a Manager at the St. Augustine Branch in Florida. Skip stated “I really love my career here at Ferguson and I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with such loyal customers.” Skip attended the University of Georgia, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and going fishing every chance he gets. Micky Smith began his career in the industry with Ferguson 27 years ago and holds the position of Counter Sales Representative. In a recent interview with Micky he stated that what he enjoys most about working for Ferguson is “working with such a great group of people including our wonderful customers.” Micky enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Alethea and their two children and when he has the opportunity, he loves to go hunting and fishing.
