Sean Beattie Promoted to Counter Manager at Ferguson Atlanta
Ferguson Atlanta is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Sean Beattie to Counter Manager. Sean joined Ferguson in July 2006 at the Tampa, FL location as a Sales/Management Trainee. He then began as an Inside Sales Representative for the Tampa location. In July, 2007, Sean transferred to the Atlanta, GA where he managed the Buckhead Expressnet location and on September 1, 2009 he was promoted to Counter Manager at the Downtown Ferguson location. As Counter Manager Sean has several responsibilities including, trying to drive new business into the counter of the downtown location, making sure all of our customers are being taken care of in a timely and accurate manner, making sure the appearance and accuracy of inventory levels are correct. Sean also has two employees that assist him in all of these duties. In a recent interview with the Plumbing News Sean stated that he what he enjoys most about working for Ferguson is “the relationships that I have built and being able to help out customers in a time of need. Regardless of the size of the need it is always great to be able to help other people especially ones that you have been able to build trust and a relationship with.” Sean was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. He attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. In his spare time he enjoys Georgia football, hiking, camping, and spending time with his beautiful girlfriend, Collette.
